Voici quelques pièces présentées pour mon examen de fin d’année.

Mon travail s'est articulé autours du patriotisme, des représentations du pouvoir et de la frontière.

Here are a few pieces showed for my final exams. My work was articulated around patriotism, the representation of power and the notion of frontiers between states.

In Varieta Concordia, tissus brodé, 140cm x 240cm.

Le titre reprend la devise de l'Union Européenne.

  In Varieta Concordia, embroided fabric. The title is a reference to the motto of the European Union.

 

Protection / Isolation,  bois et fixations en métal, 4 panneaux de 250cm x 250cm.

 Les Patriotes, 

installation sonore consistant en deux rangées de haut-parleurs se faisant face. 

Chaque enceinte diffuse en boucle un hymne national d'un pays membre de l'Union Européenne.

The Patriots,

sound installation consisting in two rows of loud speakers facing each other, each one plays a national anthem of a state member of the E.U.

Alain

Alain est un vagabond qui erre dans les rues de Rouen. Si l'on est attentif on peut admirer ses mots gravés dans divers lieux de la ville.

Alain is a tramp who wanders in the streets of Rouen. If you are carreful enough you can see his beautiful carved words in many places of the city.

 

De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas

Bien que l’église Saint Patrice n'a pas été érigée pour célébrer la gloire du Très Bas, elle a tout de même des airs de rituels occultes.

Even though Saint Patrick church wasn't built to worship the Adversary, it still has a smell of the occult.
